National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) President and CEO Michele Stanley issued the following statement on the 70th anniversary of the Interstate Highway System.
As the nation marks the 70th anniversary of the Interstate Highway System on June 29, transportation and construction industry organizations are using the milestone to call on Congress to pass a new multi-year surface transportation reauthorization before current federal programs expire Sept. 30, 2026.
The NSSGA has shown its support for the next generation of young leaders in the quarrying and aggregates sector by hosting its annual meet-up for the cohort. More than 380 young leaders have attended the annual young leaders meet-up hosted by the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA).
