Karen Hubacz Named as 2022 Board Chair of NSSGA

NASHVILLE, TN – During the Annual Membership Meeting at the 2022 Annual Convention, the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) outgoing Chair Darin Matson of Rogers Group, Inc. handed off the gavel to the association’s first Chairwoman Karen Hubacz, president & CEO of Bond Construction. The full slate of 2022 Executive Committee Members, Officers and Board Members were additionally announced.

NSSGA’s Kicks Off Annual Convention with the Power of We

NASHVILLE, TN – More than 600 aggregates industry leaders have convened in Nashville for the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (NSSGA) 2022 Annual Convention. The 2022 meeting themed the “Power of We” stresses the importance of a united industry after accomplishing the passage of the largest infrastructure investment of all times.

 

NSSGA Opposes Gas Tax Holiday

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) President and CEO Michael Johnson issued the following statement opposing legislation that would suspend collection of the gas tax. NSSGA also circulated this letter on the issue to the Hill, voicing concern with proposals for the gas tax holiday. 

NSSGA Praises House Passage of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) President and CEO Michael Johnson issued the following statement regarding the House passage of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act by a vote of 228-206.

NSSGA Statement on OSHA Vaccine and Testing ETS

ALEXANDRIA, VA – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs Michele Stanley issued the following statement regarding the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announcement of an Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) that phases in a vaccine mandate for companies with over 100 employees.
