Final National Environmental Policy Act Ruling Announced

ALEXANDRIA, VA – Today, following the announcement by President Trump in Atlanta, the final National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) rule by the White House’s Council on Environmental Quality was released. The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs Michele Stanley issued the following statement:

EPA’S REPLACEMENT WATERS OF THE U.S. (WOTUS) RULE PROTECTS WATERS AND PROVIDES CLARITY FOR AGGREGATES PRODUCERS

ALEXANDRIA, VA – EPA Administrator Andrew  Wheeler today announced the new Navigable Waters Protection Rule: Definition of “Waters of the United States” (WOTUS) at an event today in Las Vegas. This rule was proposed in 2019 for public comment and today has been finalized.
