Letter to Senate Leadership on the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027
On behalf of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) and our nearly 500 member companies, we urge the Senate to promptly pass the Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027. The extension of surface transportation authorizations included within this measure would sustain critical infrastructure investments and keep construction projects moving by continuing current authorization levels through December 11, 2026. NSSGA members produce the crushed stone, sand and gravel that form the literal foundation of America’s roads, bridges, airports and public works. These materials support hundreds of thousands of jobs and enable the infrastructure improvements on which communities rely every day. Continued federal funding is essential for our industry to maintain production schedules, workforce stability and reliable supply chains.
