NSSGA represents the producers and suppliers of crushed stone, sand and gravel: the essential construction materials that form the literal foundation of every highway, bridge, and transit project in America. Our members operate in nearly every congressional district and supply the materials that make possible the safe, efficient movement of people and goods across our nation. A timely, multiyear surface transportation reauthorization is critically important to our industry and the national economy. Long-term funding certainty enables states and localities to plan and deliver projects efficiently, sustain jobs, and support economic activity.
