NSSGA strongly opposes H.R. 1373 as it would permanently ban aggregate production on millions of acres of land. Such a ban would severely diminish the ability for communities to access key resources that are necessary for building roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, homes and businesses.
On behalf of the over 400-members of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), I am writing to urge your support for increased funding for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as you draft the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Labor, Health, and Human Services (LHHS) Appropriations bill.
On behalf of the over 400-members of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), I am writing express our opposition to proposed changes to the estate tax exemption included in H.R. 3301, the Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2019.
Americans have suffered under the weight of our nation’s aging, failing infrastructure for far too long. Rebuilding and modernizing our nation’s infrastructure will benefit every citizen, and it will make every community safer, more resilient, and more secure. It will create good jobs, boost productivity, sharpen our nation’s competitive edge, and ensure our current and future economic success.
On behalf of the over 400-members of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), I am writing to thank you for your tireless work to draft and advance the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development and Related Agencies (T-HUD) Appropriations bill.
Tomorrow is an opportunity for leadership of historic proportions to fix America’s crumbling infrastructure. The time is now to identify the funding for such a package and get America’s infrastructure back on track.
The undersigned business groups strongly support H.R. 216, the Main Street Tax Certainty Act of 2019, which would make permanent the Section 199A 20 percent qualified business income deduction. Led by Representatives Jason Smith (MO) and Henry Cuellar (TX) in the House and Senator Steve Daines (MT) in the Senate, this bipartisan legislation will help ensure permanent tax relief for the millions of employers organized as S corporations, partnerships and sole proprietorships.
The 31 national associations and construction trade unions of the Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) strongly support your introduction of the Rebuild America Act of 2019 and stand ready to work with you to ensure enactment of a user-fee increase this year.
