NSSGA Appoints Mira Lezell as SVP of Government & Regulatory Affairs
ALEXANDRIA, VA – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) today announced that Mira Lezell has been named Senior Vice President of Government and Regulatory Affairs effective today. Lezell brings a wealth of experience in transportation and infrastructure policy through her two decades on Capitol Hill.

Her background in transportation policy, while working in Congress and in the Administration, will be a tremendous asset to the association,” said NSSGA President & CEO Michele Stanley. “She brings a deep understanding of the legislative process, appreciation for strong stakeholder relationships and an ability to navigate complex issues effectively.”
Mira Lezell most recently served as the Policy Advisor for the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee. Prior to that, she served as Staff Director of the Highways and Transit Subcommittee and worked in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation during President Trump’s first term. She has two decades of experience working in Congress, including serving on the staff of a former senior Member of the Appropriations Committee and as Chief of Staff to a former senior Member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
Lezell is originally from Maryland and holds a degree in policy studies and a minor in public communications from Syracuse University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
