NSSGA Announces the 2026 Community Relations Excellence Winners
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) today announced its 2026 Community Relations Excellence winners, as well as its Stars of Excellence awards, on stage at the 2026 Legislative & Policy Forum.
“Congratulations to our winners for their outstanding contributions to the communities in which they operate,” said NSSGA President and CEO Michele Stanley. “These facilities demonstrate the benefits that aggregates operations bring to their communities and how the industry supports their neighbors through charity work, community partnerships and more.”
The Community Relations Excellence Awards recognize aggregates producers for the generous contributions they make to their communities and their work to enhance public perception of their individual operations and the entire industry. This year, NSSGA recognized 9 Gold, 23 Silver and 67 Bronze winners. Martin Marietta’s Blue Ridge Quarry was named the 2026 Community Relations Platinum winner, receiving the highest overall score.
Additionally, Martin Marietta’s Onslow Quarry, Amrize’s Presque Isle Quarry and Rogers Group, Inc.’s Tuscumbia Quarry were recognized as National Stars of Excellence winners. This award recognizes an operation that has received Gold Awards in more than one of the Safety, Community Relations or Environmental Excellence categories within the past five years.
