NSSGA Statement of Support for WOTUS Supplemental Rule

ALEXANDRIA, VA – National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) President & CEO Michele Stanley today released the following statement in support of the proposed update to the Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) supplemental rule.

 

NSSGA Statement on Passage of Continuing Resolution

ALEXANDRIA, VA – National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association President and CEO Michele Stanley issued the following statement after the House passed a Continuing Resolution (CR) that extends government funding and surface transportation authorizations through Dec. 11. The same bill previously passed the Senate on Aug. 8 and now goes to the president for his signature.

 

NSSGA Applauds Committee Passage of the BUILD America 250 Act  

ALEXANDRIA, VA – National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) President & CEO Michele Stanley issued the following statement today, following the House Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Committee passage of H.R. 8870, the BUILD America 250 Act (the surface transportation reauthorization bill) by a 62-2 vote in the early morning hours on Friday.

 

2026 Young Leaders Annual Meeting Wrap-Up

DESTIN, FL – The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) concluded its 2026 Young Leaders Annual Meeting in Destin, FL. The meeting held April 12-15, attracted more than 380 participants from across the country. The agenda included two general sessions, several breakouts, fun networking opportunities and community service activities.

 

Jo Anne Cowan Named NSSGA Vice President, Meetings & Membership

ALEXANDRIA, VA The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) today announced the promotion of Jo Anne Cowan to Vice President, Meetings & Membership. Cowan has been with NSSGA since 2023 and in that time improved the NSSGA member experience across multiple areas. She is now charged with leading NSSGA’s annual events, meetings and membership engagement.

 

Zach Green Announced as 2026 NSSGA Board Chair

LAS VEGAS – During today’s Annual Membership Meeting, Zach Green, Colas USA, was named the 2026 Board Chair of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA). Outgoing Board Chair Ted Baker, II, Blue Water Industries, handed off the gavel to Green after presenting the 2025 State of the Association.

 

Kristen Randall to Serve as 2026 Manufacturing & Services Division Chair

LAS VEGAS The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) Manufacturing & Services (M&S) Division today announced Kristen Randall of Superior Industries, to be their new Chair. During the M&S members’ dinner, outgoing Chair Craig Lamarque of Wirtgen America, a John Deere Company, presented the gavel to Kristen Randall.
