On April 17, 2017, NSSGA members will be able to apply for the Environmental Excellence, Environmental Leadership and the Environmental Certificate of Achievement award through the online application process located on the NSSGA Awards webpage. The deadline to apply for all of the Environmental Awards of Excellence is May 31.
NSSGA implemented changes to the presentation of the annual awards to better support the association’s mission and new event schedule. The recipients of these awards will be recognized in the fall at the association’s newest event, the Legislative and Policy Forum/Fall Board Meeting in Washington, D.C. Sept. 24-Sept. 28. Here members of Congress and regulators will be invited to take part in the presentation of the awards to outstanding operations. The awards of Excellence in Safety and Health and the Grassroots Awards will also be presented at this event.
