Is Your Drone Program FAA Compliant?

NSSGA member firm Husch Blackwell will deliver October’s AGG1 Online webinar next week to give operators tips on how to get started with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV or drone) program, The ABCs of UAVs (Thursday, Oct. 26, 3-4 p.m. ET). The use of drones has been growing in popularity in construction and aggregates applications — it provides new opportunities to measure stockpiles, plan operations and monitor your plant, in a safe and cost-effective way.

However, airspace is now regulated. Make sure you understand how to stay in compliance with current FAA regulations regarding drones. This one-hour presentation will provide the steps to follow in order to start a drone program safely and legally. Participants will earn one Professional Development Hour for attendance, and can ask questions in advance to make sure their drone-related questions and issues are addressed in the webinar.
