Employees Look to their Companies for Voting Information

Register employees at your company to vote and support pro-aggregates candidates

Research has shown that employees consistently list their employer as the most credible source of information about political issues and elections affecting their job, company and industry. Sadly, nearly one quarter of eligible voters in the country were not registered to vote four years ago, and NSSGA wants to change that for these pivotal November elections.

NSSGA is asking all member companies to ensure that their employees are registered to vote.  Click here to visit the Employees Vote website for an easy registration process.

By partnering with BIPAC, an organization dedicated to helping private sector employers and employees engage in the political process, NSSGA hopes to make the aggregates industry’s voice heard in local, state and federal elections. Once registered, employees can support pro-aggregates candidates with all the support that our industry can muster.

Broad aggregates industry participation in the electoral process is crucial to our future success and key to enacting a long-term, sustainable funding solution for the Highway Trust Fund before 2020 when the FAST Act expires.
