Distance Learning Programs
NSSGA has partnered with the Institute of Quarrying to offer distance learning for aggregates industry professionals.
The Graduate/Management Conversion Program is a one-year program geared toward managers who have a related college degree and want to gain a more specific understanding of the aggregates industry and the quarrying process. It’s also ideal for individuals in other disciplines, suppliers or manufacturers requiring increased industry knowledge. Click here to learn more about the Graduate/Management Conversion Program.
Participants must have access to a computer, internet connection and video conferencing/Skype. Students will need to dedicate approximately 10-15 hours per week of study in order to maximize the courses’ benefits.
While the majority of the learning takes place online through a learning management platform, course participants will meet in person once:
- Nov. 18-20: Participants will attend the NSSGA Legislative & Policy Forum in Washington, D.C. to undergo U.S.-specific safety & health and environmental training, as well as tutoring sessions for challenging parts of the curriculum.
Participation in the in-person training event is required and included as part of your course enrollment fee. No additional fees are required.
