Awards Judges Needed – Deadline Extended

Review applications for a chance to earn rewards

NSSGA annually recognizes outstanding operations through Awards for Community Relations and Environmental Excellence.

Each year, dozens of operations apply for these awards. Judging for the awards are done by NSSGA members. We need NSSGA members to review the applications to determine which pits and quarries receive gold, silver or bronze awards.

It is not too late to review these applications, and we need your help. See how your fellow aggregates companies handle community relations or environmental programs and help recognize great and unique practices. Also, judges will be entered in drawings for several $50 gift cards just for reviewing a handful of applications – which only takes a few minutes. Your participation in judging is an essential part of making the awards program happen, resulting in recognition of our member companies and their facilities.

If you are interested in becoming a judge and reviewing applications by the new deadline of July 31, please contact Patrick Dunne, NSSGA senior director of communications, at or 703-526-1062.
