There is much at stake for aggregates producers and our economy in this year’s mid-term election. That’s why NSSGA is encouraging all 100,000 aggregates industry employees to get to the polls on election day. Our country needs policymakers who will help fuel and sustain our country’s continued economic recovery by advancing regulatory reform, investing in infrastructure and creating jobs.
NSSGA recently launched a Get Out the Vote site, where NSSGA members can look up their polling place, see a sample ballot and learn about candidates. According to the Business-Industry Political Action Committee, employees said that getting information from employers helped prepare them to vote. To hear more about this year’s mid-term election and learn about other tools to encourage voter participation, check out the recently recorded NSSGA webinar “Mid-Term Elections are Approaching — Are You Prepared?”
“In addition to using NSSGA’s digital voting information tools, take time to speak with your employees, colleagues, friends and family about the importance of voting,” said NSSGA President and CEO Michael W. Johnson.
