NSSGA Announces Safety Training Opportunities

NSSGA Hosts Virtual Training Webinar and MSHA Releases Spring Thaw Schedule

Virtual Training in the Next Webinar

Aggregates operations perform workplace examinations to find and fix potential hazards before work starts. Free software from the NIOSH Pittsburgh Mining Research Division can help workers improve and review their workplace exam skills.

EXAMiner is a workplace examination tool that gives people an opportunity to practice searching for hazards in virtual environments. It also gives health and safety professionals the opportunity to debrief hazard recognition performance with workers.

Brianna Eiter, Ph.D., and Timothy Orr, from NIOSH, will demonstrate EXAMiner and tips and best practices for creating site-specific scenes during NSSGA’s next webinar on March 20.

Register today.

The EXAMiner software is free and comes equipped with 31 scenes that health and safety professionals can use to create training scenarios. EXAMiner also gives health and safety professionals the ability to create site-specific materials by importing panoramic pictures from their own sites into the software. Learn how to incorporate EXAMiner into current workplace examination practices.
