HOW TO COMPLY WITH TRAINING MANDATES TIED TO OSHA’S HAZARD COMMUNICATION RULE

Join us on Sept. 17 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time for NSSGA’s monthly AGG1 online webinar. This month’s topic is “How to Comply with the Training Mandates Tied to the U.S. Occupation Safety and Health Administration’s Hazard Communication Rule.”
In the wake of OSHA’s rule signaling U.S. government harmonization with global hazard communication standards, there are additional mandates for aggregates sector customers – including the need to have completed training employees on the new label elements by Dec. 1, 2013. This webinar will provide what aggregate operators need to know to demonstrate compliance with the new training mandates.
Instructors:
  • Catamount Consulting’s Ron Witt, a U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration-certified safety instructor, who has been involved in safety consulting and training for more than 25 years.
  • Med-Tex Services President Dennis Dougherty, head of the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council, is an adjunct professor at St. Joseph’s University instructing the OSHA safety course. Dougherty is a past participant of the Safety Product Advisory Council for Mine Safety Appliance.
Register here to make sure you can demonstrate compliance! This 60-minute webinar will award 1.0 Professional Development Hours for attendance.
