Q:When is the housing deadline to get into the NSSGA room block at the Las Vegas Hilton?
A:January 15, 2008, at 5 p.m. CST is the firm deadline for reservations in the NSSGA room block. Remember that you must be signed up for the NSSGA 2008 Convention and CONEXPO-CON/AGG in order to make these reservations. Don't wait until the last minute - do it now!
 
Q:Are there still rooms available in the NSSGA room block at the Las Vegas Hilton?
A:Yes! Rooms are still available for arrival on Monday, March 10 with departure on Friday, March 14. Room requests outside of these dates may not be available and may cause your reservation to be placed on a wait list.
 
Q:How do I get my registration materials and name badge?
A:If you register on or before February 8, your registration packet will be mailed to you, including your name badge, session tickets (if purchased), and Expocard. If you misplace your badge, you will be required to show identification and purchase a replacement badge for the fee originally paid.
 
Q:I'm not a member of NSSGA, may I attend your convention?

Q:I'd like to register several of my colleagues to attend - can I do this online?
A:Yes, simply go online and the website will take you through the process for one person, including hotel reservations. To register additional attendees, you must complete the process for each person.
 
Q:What is the weather like in Las Vegas in March?
A:The weather in Las Vegas in March has an average high temperature of 69 degrees and a low of 47 degrees. The average precipitation is .59 inches in March.
 
Q:What is the attire for the NSSGA Convention?
A:It is Business Casual (no tie) for all Leadership and Committee Meetings and General Sessions. For the "Rat Pack at ROCKPAC" Event on Wednesday: Coats and ties for men and cocktail attire for women. For the Spouse Tour on Wednesday, March 12: Resort Casual.
 
Q:What does " Las Vegas" mean?
A:Las Vegas means "the meadows" in Spanish. Founded in 1905 and incorporated March 16, 1911, it is the largest city in Nevada.
