Last year Congress temporarily shored-up the Highway Trust Fund before it became insolvent by approving a short-term extension of the program through May 31, 2015. However, the short-term patch is not guaranteed to last through the length of the program extension, and already groups are moving to oppose the long-term funding mechanisms our infrastructure and our economy need.
On March 25, 2014, the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers released a proposed rule that would assert Clean Water Act jurisdiction including floodplains and dry ditches, based on an incomplete scientific study and flawed economic analysis.

NSSGA needs you to comment as well; the EPA must hear from as many businesses as possible about the impacts this will have on your operations.
