The next AGG1 Academy & Expo will take place March 6-8, 2018 in Houston, Texas, and it’s already shaping up to be a record-setter, with the show floor more than 70 percent sold out. The AGG1 Academy education program, an essential component of the event, will offer more than 50 aggregates-specific education sessions and workshops covering nearly every aspect of aggregates production, including safety and health, technology, management, production, community relations, leadership and environmental stewardship.
NSSGA is now accepting topic proposals for inclusion in the 2018 AGG1 Academy.
“The AGG1 Academy has gained the well-deserved reputation of being the one place to go to learn about everything related to aggregates,” said NSSGA’s Meetings & Education Committee chairman, Joel Galassini of CEMEX. “The Meetings & Education Committee invites all NSSGA members to submit topic proposals highlighting best practices, ways to improve worker health and safety, tactics for operational efficiency, and new innovations in our industry.”
Learn more at the AGG1 Academy FAQ, and click here to submit a proposal. The deadline for topic proposals is July 14, 2017. Proposals will be reviewed by the Meetings & Education Committee, and the final program will be announced September 2017.
